About the Activities

Our guided post to post Galway Clare Burren trail ride takes the rider through a beautiful variety of rural Irish countryside in the course of a week. The daily 5 hour rides run through heather covered bog land, along quiet country lanes, on forest tracks, through the world famous Burren and finish overlooking the Atlantic Ocean with the Cliffs of Moher and the Aran Islands.

Our Irish Castle and Monastic ruin ride offers the unique combination of guided half day rides and organised sight seeing trips for all level of riders. This is the perfect balance between horseriding and visiting historic Ireland - without the need of a rental car.

The An Sibin residential ride is a back-to-nature experience like no other. Set in the West of Ireland the lodge at An Sibin is a 300 year-old lovingly restored farmhouse with individually decorated ensuite rooms in a unique setting.

We offer a combination of basic arena work, horsemanship introduction and guided hacks on many miles of riding tracks through our beautiful rugged countryside.

This is truly a country idyll, perfect for getting away from it all.

About the Horses

The Irish horse is renowned for its stamina, versatility and gentleness and will provide an ideal companion for an unforgettable vacation. We have a constantly changing number of horses with many proud examples of several typical Irish breeds such as the tall but gentle Irish Draught, the lively and clever Connemara, the fine and energetic Irish Hunter, the beautifully coloured Piebald and the intelligent and comfortable Irish Cob.

About the Facilities and Accommodation

The uniqueness of our weeklong post to post trail ride lies in the fact that our route winds it way day by day from the rugged beauty of the Slieve Aughty Mountains all the way to the Atlantic. The riders get to discover every day new countryside along the route as the horses stay each night in a different field.

The accommodation in the lodge at An Sibin is a 300 year-old lovingly restored farmhouse with individually decorated ensuite rooms in a unique old world setting.

All our packages include the riding, the accommodation and full Irish breakfast, tasty lunch snack and deliciously homecooked dinner.

Directions to Centre

From Shannon Airport take the N18 towards Ennis (about 20min).
From Ennis the exit R352 via Scariff, Tulla and Mountshannon to Whitegate (about 50min).
From Whitegate still on the R352 towards Portumna; you will see after 3Km the small brown sign for "An Sibin Riding Centre" into the left. Follow this little road (L40361) to the very end (1,5 Km).
