From Luxury to Practicality
Most equestrian and horse riding holiday operators offer accommodation on site or nearby and you can opt for everything from the most luxurious to the most practical. From a castle to a cottage, the range is wide but the welcome will always be exactly the same. And if your travelling companion has other interests then combination holidays can be provided with access to one of Ireland’s many excellent spas, golf courses or cookery training centres.
Some equestrian centres cater for unaccompanied children and offer additional English Language Tuition with qualified teachers. Summer camps can extend over one- or two-week periods and between riding lessons, working in the yard and some study in the classroom, the time will fly by and your child is likely to return home full of wonderful stories and having made some great new friends. They may also learn about the commitment, patience and determination it takes to look after horses and how immensely rewarding the experience can be. A riding holiday in Ireland could be the most valuable learning curve of your child’s lifetime.
